recording with just piano and voice

hey i am new at this and i play the piano and sing and i just want to play the piano and sing and record it but i want to have a recording studio that will do that what do you suggest that i get? I want the quality to be really good but i dont really need like all of the mixing equipment. Also what is a good inexpensive microphone? I also want to burn the songs on a cd! i also want a pitch correcter!

Depends on your budget. A Shure SM57 is a good inexpensive microphone.

I would recommend a Roland BR1180CD or a Yamaha AW16G, a pair of Oktava MC012's, a Shure SM57, headphones, a mic cable and some cds.

Curious....... why the pitch corrector? Would that really help a person who happens to go flat all the time due to tone quality over the pitch itself?
