Recording virtual instruments in Cubase 5

Hello,
I spent 3 days to find out how to to make Cubase listen to EWQLSO instruments.
But I dont know how to record it . When I press "Transport record", I can see that track is recording something (I think) , but when I stop it .There is nothing written in MIDI track. Im posting screeshot.

Thanks for your help and sorry for my silly question .

After you choose an instrument, you'll need to trigger it somehow - I'm guessing you have a midi keyboard of some sort. The act of you hitting the keys is sending midi data ; this data is what needs to be recorded in Cubase. I would suggest Google to search for some tutorials to watch in addition to referring to the help files that came with Cubase. Good luck!
 
Oh Ok,
so you wanted to say that without Keyboard connected to PC I cant do it ? Cause Itryed it without it , just play through keyboard in EWQLSO. I want to play it through keybord but I dont have my reduction yet. Its on the way .
