Happy New Year! I hope it's a good one for you all.
I had a great experience recently recording a vintage Gretsch drumkit (early 70s) for a cover of an old jazz standard. We were after a vintage tone to suit the piece, so used a minimal miking technique. It worked out really well so I wrote it up and posted a few photos and an audio clip.... Thought some of you might be interested....
