any help would be greatly appreciated(i'm a novice at this part)...
I'm using logic silver and trying to now create a CD of some of my songs. When I try to drag the files over in CD software window, it tells me that it can't open the file type(.lso)? Do i need to convert something into a .wav file? All of the individual tracks are in .wav format, but how do I compress the whole thing into one .wav file? Is this possible? Or am I way off base? I'm using NERO (CD Burning Software that came free with the CDR). Do i need better software? Thank you in advance!

Nero is a weird interface to say the least.

I find it easiest to run the wizard thing, select audio CD and drag the files over.

These are 16bit wav files right?

I'm not familiar with the Logic family, but most software has a command somewhere to "mix to file", or "mixdown to wav", etc. - From within Logic, try clicking on help, search, then search for the word mix or mixdown. Before you can output to a CD, you need a stereo wav file or your burner software won't recognize it. Also, most audio sequencers today have some sort of burning application built in - if Logic does, it might be more intuitive than Nero. Hope this helps... Steve

thanks. i'll search around a bit more in logic. and yes, these are 16 bit files... I've never worked with any other burning software before, but NERO does seem to be a bit weird...
thanks again.
