I have a Zoom MRS-4 track, and although I have managed to record onto it, and then onto tape via a standard Hi-FI. I was wondering what I need in order to be able to connect the 4 track up to my PC, so I can make MP3 files of my recordings, I am not really bothered about the quality of the sound as it is mainly for myself.
thanks for any help! I am sorry, but i am pretty stupid when it comes to technical stuff, so i am not sure if i explained what i was asking about properly!
Go to your nearest Wal-Mart, CompUSA, etc., and purchase a Smart Media reader for your computer. I've seen external USB readers for under $20.
Then you'll need to download some software:
"For managing your Smart Media, the free "MRS-4 Card Manager" downloadable software can convert audio files for each track to/from WAV files and can be used with your desktop DAW software." (quoted from the description of the MRS on zzounds.com )
