Recording time capacity for multitrackers.

I was reading about the FOSTEX D2424LV multitrack recorder. There was something about the recording time that I didn’t like. If you record all 24 tracks simultaneously, the hard drive would be full in two hours.

I need a backup machine for location recording and could conceivably use 24 tracks for up to four or five hours.

Does anyone happen to know the record time capacity of the Alesis HD24 or the Mackie HDR 2496? (I will only record at 16bit/44.1k for live work.)
 
An 80 Gig drive will give you 6 hours of recording time. If you could find one, it'll handle drives up to 2 TBs (that's 2000 Gigs!!!!! :eek: ).
