Cyrokk: This is more along the lines of what I have been thinking. Next time I think I'll try this combined with the suggestions of others. I guess I should fork out for one of those drum sample CD's. Really instead of a click it would be better for me to find a drum pattern that matches the syncopation of my song to play along with. Hopefully then I won't strain anything !
It's quicker to record clickless but it's so nice to cut and paste bars sometimes.
Checkout my post on the MP3 clinic. It was done clickless using the guitar track as a reference. It does let the song naturally breathe, slow down and speed up where it wants to. I don't know how you'd go about doing that with a click ? Sometimes the click seems to force everything into a box if you know what I mean - still it does depend on the song too.
