I don't know if I placed this thread in the correct forum, forgive me if it belongs in a different place.
But I recently purchased a Delta 1010, and I know that it comes with Logic Delta. How do you guys think this program holds up for someone beginning to record on a computer. Hows the learning curve for the program? I'm just wondering because I've only had experience recording on a Boss BR8, and I'm sure that recording on a computer isn't going to be as simple as the BR8.
Also, this may be thinking too far ahead, but what software would you guys recommend if I decide on getting new program. I'm basically going to record guitar, drums, bass, vocals, and maybe some other instruments. So I'll need multitracking capability. I don't really do any kind of midi work right now, but I want to be able to bring in some kind of midi controller later and record through the same software. I've been trying to read around on this board, and it seems like many people are doing well with Cubase SX. I'm wondering about the learning curve though. I downloaded a demo of SX, so I'm going to try that out, but if you guys have any suggestions, anything would help. Thanks.
