Recording Software come with a Compressor?

Do any of these recording packages come with compressors and stuff like that? Or are these plugin's you have to pay extra for? Is it normally better to use a hardware compressor or one that a recording suite would come with? To be a little more specific, I was eyeballing ProTools LE which I'm not sure what kind of features it has. Although for a grand I would hope it does.
 
Dude, I just answered you half an hour ago. And the Pro Tools site actually has a listing of everything Pro Tools LE comes with.

do yoursaelf a BIG favour. both powertracks and magix music studio come with compresssors built in as well as all sorts of effects like echo/reverb
etc etc. both cost me under 100 bucks. just try the darn demoes.
you dont need anything else. also another package i like is multitrackstudio.com - also comes with a compressor and all sorts of fx.
