Recording Software come with a Compressor?

Do any of these recording packages come with compressors and stuff like that? Or are these plugin's you have to pay extra for? Is it normally better to use a hardware compressor or one that a recording suite would come with? To be a little more specific, I was eyeballing ProTools LE which I'm not sure what kind of features it has. Although for a grand I would hope it does.
 
Yeah, pretty much any program out there will start you off with compressor, EQ, reverb, etc. Pro Tools LE is no exception (It comes with Bomb Factory plugins now, if I remember correctly...)
 
SOUNDFORGE HAS A NOISE REDUCTION PLUG IN, I KNOW WHAT BECAUSE I HAVE IT, PEACE
