routing...its in the manual

you have to set up your interface in cubase F4

it didnt come with a manual cause i got it for free with my interface:(
but aight man will do thanx alot:)

you should have a help file within cubase, up in one of the dropdown menus at the top of the screen. it's basically a more comprehensive manual than the paperback would be if you bought it. (not saying that you are a pirate, i got a version of cubase with my interface too and it had no manual either.) check into it up there

Sorry for hijacking your thread snellular5 but I thought it was a good spot to talk to pikingrin.

pikingrin, I was in Houston 2 weeks ago and stopped in a Texas bar-b-q buffet and there was this dude maybe in his 40's that looked like he came from the rodeo and could of been a relative of Chuck Norris. He was playing guitar and singing in a karaoeke style to country and western hits off a cd. What a hoot.

Anyhow, he starts explaining to me about his set up and shows me his eq settings and tells me about his drummer friend that came in and fixed it all up and made it sound good again for him a few days earlier. He told me he took a picture of the settings so when they get messed up he would know how to put them back :). I'm thinking do I look like an AE, why's he telling me this stuff? Also thinking, wow a real cowboy :D:D

The food was great and on the way out I looked at the wall and there it was, an autographed picture of Chuck Norris. I have lived!

If you ate BBQ at a buffet, you have not fully lived though...:D Chuck Norris... Ah, where do I start on this one? He has a ranch about 45 minutes to the north of Houston and, from what I have heard, he's actually a pretty nice guy. No roundhouse kicks for stepping on his grass if you know what I mean. ;) Sounds like you had a good time though, if you ever come back I'll have to show you some real Texas BBQ...

Is your sound card capable of excepting two or more inputs?
I am assuming it is since you can record in stereo.

(I actually have Nuendo 2.0, but they are pretty close)
1. On your input devices create a stereo or mono input
2. If you do mono create a left mono and a right mono
3. create a new track and select mono left
4. Create a new track and select mono right
5. on the track you want to record select the correct input on the input select.
Note: on mine this is on the left of the track pain.
click on the track and the options should be on your left.

I hope this helps you....

They wont let me post a link because I am new. So go to Steinberg.net they have manuals to download.

If your ever in Austin (which I recommend), hit up The Salt Lick. Its a BBQ pit about 30 minutes out and when you are finished . . the angels will sing.
