Hi all my name is Dan. A few months ago I bought a Boss BR-900 CD digital recorder and have had a lot of fun with it. The biggest problem I have is putting(recording) the rhythm that came on the unit(Br-900) to tracks. I have the manual but don't understand it very well so I know I'm missing a lot. I have been using an old rhythm unit but really hate the sound it has and love the Boss rhythm sounds. I can listen to the drums and play along with them but can't seem to find out how to record the drums. Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.......Dan

Err?
"Connect the BR-900CD to the outside world with one convenient USB connection. Import and export audio files and song data quickly and easily. Need to add some drum loops or vocal samples to your song? Simply drag and drop your favorite WAV files from USB-equipped computer directly into the BR-900CD. Conversely, you can export audio that you've created internally on the BR-900CD to computers."

So maybe you need a PC hookup?

Dave.

Internally, you create the rhythm track in its own 'enviroment', it's not on one of the 8(? guessing, I had a BR600) "live" tracks in the recorder. You have to 'bounce down' the rhythm track (along with any other tracks you have recorded) to one of the stereo tracks. Until you do that, you don't have an audio track of the rhythm to export, as Dave suggest.
