Hello all, first time posting.
I have a Tascam 424 MkII and an Acoustic 450 amplifier. I wanted to see if I could use the preamp of the Acoustic as a line out to record onto the Tascam. Would this blow the inputs of the Tascam? The preamp is designed to be going through to a power amp, so I'm assuming it has the same qualities as playing through a SansAmp or something, which I know can be used to record with safely. But considering this amp is from the 70s, and so is this 4-track, I'd just rather play it safe and see if someone knows for certain.
Thanks!
