recording question

how do you guys record??? do you record with the beat all at once , or you load the instrumental then record seperately like an accapella then multitrack it?..................Do you guys have like an external mic connected to your Pc an stuff ?,

Depends on what you're going for....

You'll certainly need another mic besides your PC mic if you're wanting to make decent recordings of yourself. For reference they're okay, but not for much else.

If you already have your music ready, just record your voice while playing back your backing tracks.

load instrumental into one track...

select the red little "R" to record on another track....

connect headphones,

press record....
