Hi there,
I am a vocalist and record songs through karaokes. I am having latency problems when recording via microphone since I've bought my new sound card (Creative Sound Blaster 5.1VX).
Here is the stuff I'm using for recording :
1. Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.66Ghz
2. RAM = 4GB
3. Microphone = Shure SM58
4. Phonic AM440D mixer
5. Creative Sound Blaster 5.1VX (PCI slot)
6. Softwares for recording = Sony ACID Music Studio 8.0 and Sound Forge 10.0b
I tried re-installing all my sound card drivers. Also have disabled the on-board sound card from BIOS.
But sometimes I get my microphone recording getting delayed from the music track and sometimes it goes faster than the track. It used to work fine with my on-board sound card.
Please help me with a solution as I'm not at all able to record any yracks.
