Recording onto laptop

Ok, i need some advice, i would like your opinion on the following. I am looking to record drums onto my laptop. I can only record via usb, i have looked into every other option and it is the only viable one. I can buy an:

m-audio omni studio usb, or

an m-audio audiophile usb

i have adobe audition on my laptop at the moment, however i know that the omni studio is not compatible with this, as it does not have an MME driver (i dont think). Therefore, do i go for the audiophile, or is there a different software programme that works with the omni studio? I really need some advice on this PLEASE help!

Check your other post...and yes, OmniStudio has MME drivers so it will work. Always do your research online before buying gear. M-audios site tells all the specs of their gear. Good luck.
