I have a Yamaha Clavinova Electric Piano, (CVP 35 Model) w/ a 3 track recorder built in. As simple as this sounds, I would like to record the piano music to a CD.

I have a Dell Diemsion PC model L667r with a
CD-RW drive. I have MIDI cables connected, however I'm still experiencing technical difficulties.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thta's what I do all the time. It should be no problem. What are you using for MIDI software? Is your MIDI interface a gameport adapter attached to an onboard soundcard? I also have a DELL but I use other stuff for a MIDI adapter and sound card
(MQ 2PortSE/GINA).
Don't worry about the CDR drive until you've translated your MIDI files to .wav files and auditioned the results!

Run your mix into the AUX of the soundcard. Compress it and normalize it before sending it to your CD.
