Can anyone help. When I record midi on Cubasis I get sound problems where the two notes overlap, there is no fade and the next note clashes, What I am using is a Roland pc-200 which is a trigger, it has no sound of it's own, this triggers a Roland MT-32 module which I use for bass, I am having to record the signal as audio, which is a pity because the VST Bass can produce some really nice sounds. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Clive,

I am not familiar with Cubasis (I have Cubase VST/32),
but if you have a midi function such as restrict polyphony,
you could set that to one note so they don't overlap.

Hope that helps!

I had never heard of it before but will read the manual, thanks.

When you are talking about "when the two notes meet" are you talking about two notes using the same sound, in the same MIDI track? Or are you talking about two seperate MIDI tracks that when they both have a note playing at the same time one of the "overrides" the other? If it is the second example then you want to make sure that under the "Channel" bar you have the MIDI channels set to two DIFFERENT numbers. If two MIDI tracks are using the same channel to send info they will step on each other resulting in one sound being cut off.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. Hope this helps.
