Recording latency in Reaper

I have a Digitech RP-155 USB guitar pedal that I'm using in conjunction with Reaper DAW. I'm using ASIO4all as a driver but I'm experiencing latency when recording. I downloaded a latency testing app (CU_LTU_37) and found that the ASIO4all driver was clicking along at 1.45ms with 64 samples but the RP-155 driver was sluggish at 11.45 with 240 samples. Even though I'm using ASIO4all in the DAW I'm still getting latency.

Can anyone figure out what the problem is? I don't know how to adjust the sample rate for the RP-155 driver and/or the RP-155 driver is active at the same time as the ASIO4all.

A very confusing and confounding situation. ... Please help !!

I`m having a latancy problem with drum software as well..clear as day but a split second late...I use ASIO4ALL as well and Reaper..what interface are you using? Does that guitar pedal serve as your interface? If so you have answered your question...its the pedal..maybe get an interface thats compatible with ASIO? Not sure,,, why have ASIO and an RP-155 drivers? I have the Presonus Audiobox and I`m having the same problem

Hi,
Have you tried using the standard Digitech RP-155 drivers? As what I've seen here:

RP155 Driver v 2.1 (Windows) | DigiTech Guitar Effects

They released some latest updates that makes it possible to achieve a latency around 5 ms in a fairly optimized/equipped Windows XP OS system. Probably this should solve the latency issue and lets hope it is compatible with Reaper. I am not sure if the driver itself is WDM or ASIO buts it low latency enough to be considered ASIO.

Try installing the drivers first then configuring Reaper to work on it by default (Reaper works on ASIO by default), see if it recognizes the device. If not, set Reaper to use WDM (Go to Options>Preferences>Audio>Device. Set the Audio System to WDM), exit Reaper and then restart your PC and re-check again.

Try this Cntrl P (prefrences)> Buffering and untick the box that says Anticipative FX Processing...worked for me!
