Recording in cubase sx

i arrange my song in cubase evryhting is good but now i was gonna record vocals and it dosent pick up any sound im sure my sound card evrything is hook up rigth with my mic, so i know it has to be a configuration in cubase i havent done

can anyone tell me what u have to configure to record in cubase sx

Double click on the speaker in the lower right corner of your screen and click options/properties. Choose recording and make sure that your source is chosen e.g. microphone, line-in etc...

hey newyorkmorningstar i dont have a speaker on teh bottom what i have is the "M AUDIO DELTA CONTROL PANNEL" what should i do , to record vocals in cubase?

Well I don't have your software but try going to the Control Pannel and select "Sounds And Audio Devices". Choose "Options" then "Properties". From there you can select Recording or Playback options make sure that your source is chosen e.g. microphone, line-in etc...
