Hi guys, I'm new here so be gentle!
I'm a new prospective DJ and I want to start recording the music I play. The best thing is that I work in a nightclub so I have good equipment to work with.
This is my issue that I need help with... I want to record a House music CD that I can then listen to myself play, and also be able to send them to a friend in an exotic country that isn't up to speed with dance music.
So, I want to purchase a cheap and easy sound recording device. I was thinking of recordable MP3 players, because I can then use it to listen to music generally and I like the fact that it doesn't skip, and also it should sync quite easily with my pc at home. The other alternative is MD recordable player.
If this helps, here is some equipment breakdown of the system here... I didn't think the rest of it would be necessary to tell you.
Mackie Console mixer
Pioneer 600 mixer
DBX eq
Mackie Amps.
ANy advice on what I should buy then? any help appreciated.
Oh Almost forgot, I have a computer with CD-RW capabilities so that's probably how I'll transfer the music onto CD
