Hi everyone

This is my first post and I would appreciate help from anyone.

I have recently aquired a computer system with the following spec:
Athlon 2.4ghz
1 gb ram
100 gb hardrive
DS2416
AX44
SW1000XG
External mixer

I also have Cubase 5.1 running on it and cmexx c-console 1.4

Unfortunately I have little knowledge on how to set up the system. I am a brass player and would like to record multiple tracks of audio. Is this possible and how?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Gary

I had the Yamaha DSP Factory (DS2416 and AX44) about 2 years ago. CMEXX is one of the few programs that will interface with the DSP Factory. I used Cakewalk PA 9 and had pretty good success with it. Even though it was a total pain because I had to download another program to "patch" the DSP Factory inputs/outputs to the Cakewalk inputs/outputs. I'm not sure if you need that middleman program for CMEXX. If so, I think it was buried somewhere on the Yamaha website. Yamaha has a "solutions" link somewhere on their site that will answer some questions on operating/setting up the DSP Factory. Not very detailed but it may help. It seems like there was a newsgroup out there somewhere on the DSP Factory. Try a search for it.
