Between being and nothing
Hey all!
I just spent the last two hours trying to record my acoustic with a pickup into my sound card via the direct in method. I have two external soundcards that allow me to record the guitar via a plug that allows for either a mic or a guitar plug. Anyway, I'm trying plugging in via that fashion, and I'm either getting these NASTY cycling sounds or a low hum AND the nasty cycling sounds. They seem to go away when I face the guitar a certain way (like away from the laptop), but, well, that's not really convenient.
Anyone know about how I can fix this? Am I giving too little info?
Thanks!
