Ok, I'm sure this is brutally easy but I can't seem to get it.
I am using FL Studio 8 producers edition and my guitar is USB'ed in via a POD X3 Live. I have imported a midi file and have it running/sounding the way I want it (EZ Drummer and stock bass). Now, I want to record guitar over it and I am completely stumped.
First, do I need to somehow drag the midi file from the step sequencer to the playlist? If so...how?
Second of all, I have the guitar running through the main mixer on #2 (midi is #1 for this song). I think I did that right, but the guitar sound is a bit off.
Third of all, when I click record it gives several options, two of which have something to do with edison...not sure what that is all about.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
