Im new to this whole computer thing, but have been mixing for quite some time. Lets face it cassettes are a thing of the past, but I can't figure out how to record from my mixer to my computer so that I can burn a cd. My mixer does not have any midi jacks, and my cpu doesn't have RCA, XLR, or 1/4 inch jacks. what can I do to fix this problem. Please help.

(and if this has been posted before 100 times sorry)

Lay a "sync tone" across the beginning of all of tracks coming from the analogue mixer (so you can line up the tracks once you get into the computer).

Purchase an 1/8" male stereo plug to "whatever type of outputs you have on your "board". For example...use an 1/8" male stereo to male left/right RCA.

I hope this helps you out a bit....
