Recording FM...

i saw a line out on the back of my component, it has an FM player, i want to record whatever its playing on our local FM stations using the computer.. it is possible that i'll just stab the wires on the line out of my component and stab the other end on the line in of my soundcard? tnx...
 
Yep! Look into Audacity to record on the PC. It's free and has alot of useful editing features. Good luck!
