recording Female Vocals

Where would you guys start the settings on this Behringer Vocal pre-amp for capturing a LEAD female vocal? The vocalist has a naturally mid-rangey voice.

I just need a reasonable place to start and will tweak the settings further by ear.

The Best place to start is to punch everything out but the pre-gain, find a fairly hot level that doesn't clip on the peaks.......everything else will colour the sound so don't think you have to have every gadget on the front engaged.
