You will need some sort of preamps. That is six mic's, so a mixing board might be the right thing. What kind of sound card are you using? An answer to that question will get you a much more detailed answer.

Yeah, you should probably snag a mixer, check Ebay! You'll have to run a line out from your mixer into the line in on your sound card. The only trick is to get your mix right on the board before you record. That's how I used to record my drums. Tons of trial and error.

if you dont need all those channels(which it looks like you dont)
you might want to find something else besides the behringer in that price range, with less channels. look for used mackie or something. i record with a behringer mixer...802 a, because it was in my price range. but if i was going to spend damn near $300.00 on a mixer. i would have found something else.

take nik d's advice and check ebay. the deals are out there you just got to find them.

i wont be buying behringer when i upgrade.

I vote for Soundcraft as well. I have one and it is good. I have also heard many good things about Allen and Heath mixers, although I'm not sure they fit into the price range. For drums I wouldn't get any less that 4 mic inputs, but you may want a few more. Hope this helps.

I have about the same mics as you do and plug them into a crappy 8 track mixer from the '80s that our keyboardist donated to me. I get the mix I like from that and send it stereo to the computer. With some touch up it comes out OK, I've just started doing this digitally so time wil tell. Some more experienced guys might have better advice but I hope this helps

And eBay is the s**t for getting decent equipment at a reasonable price is the seller is reputable ;)
