I Am Recording In My Bed Room On Delta Lt Through A Yamaha Mg/16/4
Mixer ...akg D112 Kick ..shure On Snare...and A Couple Of Oktavas
Between The Toms...obviously Im On A Budget And Want To Make The Most Of What Gear I Have.....i Recently Noticed While Storing Drums In A Large Walk In Closet Attached To My Bedroom/ Studio
That The Drums Sounded Killer In The Small Space And Was Wondering About Recording The Drums In The Small Space???? And Wondered If I Wold Need To Change My Micing Positions ??? I Know I Need To Experiment But Was Wondering If Anyone Has Any Experience Or Thoughts On This?

Small never works for me. Larger is better. Seems to be too many reflections etc. If drums are in even a decent room, placement of mic's in the room can bring out diferent sounds/colors. Closet? I would say they may sound cool while playing the drums but I'll bet recorded sound will be a much different beast.

i'm agonizing over if i will be able to record drums in a 10x12 room. damn a closet! you can fit a drum set in there? if you try it, i'd like to hear how it goes.
