Tryin' to bring some life to this Fostex forum because I'm starting to use my MR-8 a lot more this year. I've recorded several tracks with my guitar through my Digitech RP50, then directly into the MR-8. I've not tried this yet, but plan to run my guitar through my stereo speakers (I don't have an actual guitar amp) and put the mic in front of the speaker, maybe back a foot to capture some room ambience. Is this actually a better way to record, to give the recording more of a live sound?
