hi.

I am a college student in the uk, writing a dissertation about the changes and developments in recording media and devices through out history, from the invention of the phonograph to the present day. I have written a small survey on this, and it would be greatly appreciated if anyone would take the time to complete it.
The link is below.
Thanks
Chris.

I did a lecture at one of our colleges on the history of audio.

If you want, I'll be happy to dig up the PPT and share it with you.

PM me if you're interested. It might take me a couple days to find it, though.

Cheers :)

Could you recommend a more suitable place to ask than this?

I get paid to do surveys from a few online services. Used to get $5 (then $3) from one place for surveys that took 10-15 minutes. Now all the places offer 'points' that accrue to buy things from a catalog.
You'll probably find a few people that will do your survey if you make it quick and simple, but asking for people to write out long paragraphs of explanations and histories is a recipe to get no responses.

This ^^.

I looked at the survey, and I just didn't feel like having to respond with what needed to be long and detailed answers. Specially when the questions themselves were unhelpful. For example, what does 'better' mean?

I know of one person on this site that is no stranger to long paragraphs, explanations and histories.......:D

On the other hand, in the right mood, it was quite good fun to do.
