Just a quick q ;

i plan to use it with M Audio Profire 2626, to record bands, demos etc ...

looks ok to me. I still prefer desktops in studios since it's easy to diagnose a hardware problem. But the laptop you're considering should more than suit your needs.

What's the OS? is is 64-bit?

Yeah it looks fine, something you might wanna look into is either buying a new HDD something like a 500GB or just getting an external one.
