I have a roland fantom x7 hooked up to my computer through a usb, can I record audio through it and if so how. I also have a roland td 9 edrum set hooked up to my computer through a midi to usb, can I record its audio to.

you should be able to record actual audio from the roland phantom.
as for the e drum you cant actually record audio from it because midi isnt audio. its data. so look into a program like battery or EZdrummer. basically your drum sounds would be in your computer and your drum kit would be telling the computer which sound to play.

the way you would record audio through your roland phantom is (im guessing that it is acting as an audio interface) that you would set it as the default audio input device in both your recording program and your computer settings and you should be set.

although if it is acting as a midi controller device (like the e drums) you would yet again have to find a software synthesizer such as pianoFX studio (http://www.mymusictools.com/utilities_28/pianofx_studio_20690.htm) which is a synth that i found by doing probably less than 5 seconds of searching lol

i hope i helped
