Recording audio with effects

First off I have a Delta Series Omni I/O interface w/ Sonar 3. How do I record vocals while listening to effects at the same time. I dont want to record the effects, just listen while recording. Is this possible?

Use the Input Monitoring feature. This will allow you to "hear" the processed effects while not actually printing them to the recorded wave file.

However, you will need to get your latency down fairly low in order to not hear an echo as you record. Generally you want your latency to be down around 5ms or less to not have problems.
