Recording at 48Khz

Hi there,

Quick question as I've trawled the BBS with the search function.

Are there any advantages in recording at 48Khz against 44.1Khz?

I have a Maxi Studio ISIS which records in 16Bit thru 18Bit convertors and was wondering if a faster sample rate might help.

Goddammit! Just browsed through the recent posts and found another post on this subject, damn my search technique.

There's much more of a difference between a 16-bit and 24-bit (any sample rate) recording, than there is between a recording done 44.1 or 48khz sampling rate (but both at 16-bit).
