I mainly use Sonar but lately its not been working for me and I really don't need most of the features it has.

I have a copy of Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on my computer and I was just wondering if it was possible to record and playback at the same time.

I have a audiopile 24/96 card.

thanks

Yes. Just send the outputs of the recorded track to your soundcard and then to your monitors ot headphones.

hmmm.. the outs seem to be going to my sound card....

The problem I'm having is that when I record a track and I want to record the next track I can't hear the previous tracks as I record the new track. i.e. Full Duplex recording....

I was told that cool edit couldn't do this... hmmm... so how exactly do I get this to work?

Thanks again

You're doing something wrong somewhere wx3. I record overdubs all the time, and I've never had that problem. Check your soundcard settings....

As I see you also have some problem with SONAR related to soundcard, it would be a good time to check it's integrity & setting (Firmware mixer) :)

Maybe it's just me, but who would spend around 700 bucks minimum on just the stuff listed here, and not even know if it is possible to record/playback in CEP, RTFM or try to use the tech support numbers to get their setups working right???

Maybe I'm just getting cynical in my old age..

I woke up this morning and there was this Turbobeetle in my garage, so I was wondering... is it possible to drive it to New Orleans?
