what's the best way to recoed a mix cd? i want to record one with individual tracks but in a continuous mix. i have a burner on my pc and I also have a roland sp-808.

I like Cakewalk Pyro. Great visual of the waves for making a mix CD, and it's cheap.

Nero is a good choice too. Export your mixing to wave files and use Nero to burn them as audio CD files.

I assume that since your name is DJ Mercury, you're actually mixing songs with either CDs or wax, or both. What I do is lay down my mix from start to finish, wipe the sweat offa my brow, import the wav file into CD Architecht & then add track indexes where I want the CD to cue when someone presses FF or RW. Voila!!! Instant seamless mix CD with track indexes throughout.

There's surely other software that can do this, but on the Windows side of the house, that's all I know. I do the same thing on my mac...

Is that what you were looking for?
