Recording a Grand Piano

What recommendations do you have for recording a grand piano?
This is a church piano so I have lots of voice mic.

I will be using a 4-track recorder.

Also, check out the mics at the church to see if they're condensor mics. If they are, use them ... if not ... see if you can rent some. You'll be glad you did.

use two mics place one on the lower string area and one on the higher end. a good. i know a producer ( a well known one) and i am gonna mike up a baby grand and this is what he said. keep the mics aout15-18 inches from were the hammer hits the strings
