Recording a from generic keyboard?

Theres this beat I really like from your average 200 dollar Casio keyboard. Id like to record it somehow, but obviously the speakers on the unit arent the greatest. Is there anyway to run that to my computer through either my MAUDIO DUO or the USB MIDI thing i have? Thanks a ton

The right way is to mic it with a 57 (hey, I've got the tracks to prove it!) :D

The wrong way is to use the headphone out into a line in, but it works and is sufficiently lo-fi to capture the vibe :cool:

You mean run it through a nice amp and mic the amp not the 5 cent keyboard speakers..

Noooo! That's also the wrong way. Mic the 5 cent keyboard speakers.
 
Run it through the midi and apply the sounds you want later?
