hello! i have a question about using my new mr8hd im hoping some one can help.
i would like to make a decent demo for my band.
i would first like to record drums , then guitar , bass, vocals etc.
ok so i want to at least use 3 mics for my drums.. and use a ghost guitar track to later dump and redo..
will this work..
ghost guitar on 1 , drums on 2 3 4. record.. dump 1 bounce drums to 7/8?
overdub guitar 1, save .. over bub bass 2, save over dub lead guitar 3 save over dub vocals 4. bounce those tracks to 5/6
over dub back ups on 1 and 2 tracks.. bounce those to 5/6
move all to 7/8 and mix?? woudl this work? am i missing something?
im really not good at understanding and reading alot of tecnical stuff.. but i do have a great ear. im not sure if i am reading and understanding the concept of trying to record and over dub on all 8 tracks.
any help would be greatly appreciated!!
