Everything sounds pretty well mixed to me. I'm not into that kind of music so I can't help you much there. Only complaint would be the vox sounded very compressed.
 
I liked it. Sounds well done and mixed. Very clean for a 128k mp3. I'd say you did something right.

Well mixed, well constructed song.

Some performance issues with the slide guitar but pretty impressive for having played everything yourself. Keep working on the vocal; you've got a fine voice but there are some pitch issues, primarily at the end of phrases where you try to bend your voice up or down a few cents.
 
Thanks very much. Yes, my voice. There are indeed some intonation issues. I am taking now vocal lessons with a prof. teacher.
Its a great challange to learn country vocals.
Slide guitar : yes, I am listening as much as I can every day songs with pedal steel guitar. The more I listen, the more I get the feeling for it.
But I like to play it on my guitar, and I am confident to achieve a pedal steel like sound one day.
Its a great thing for me and making me very hopeful to get constructive comments on my little song experiences.
At the moment I do only cover songs, but I will one day learn how to compose songs by my own.
I think before I learn to compose, I have to learn to play successful compositions like these.
But I think its promising....
