Well, I guess the title of this post says it all.

Can anyone recommend a good sustain pedal for the Nord Electro? I'm assuming pedals are pretty universal, but I read some "horror stories" in the posts. Anyway, I heard that the Roland EV-5 Sustain/Control Pedal is pretty good. Either way, I want something simple, reliable and sturdy. No bells and whistles...just good sustain action.

Thanks in advance!

I bought a Proel sustain pedal only the other day. It's the PFS-30 model.

It's an Italian product. So far its very sturdy. It's built in the metal style of a piano sustain pedal, rather than an organ pedal, which is good for me 'cos I'm a pianist.

It's got a switchable polarity, so should be compatible, and connects via a normal 1/4 inch jack.

It cost me £30 here in the UK, so I'm guessing with inflated UK prices, that'll be around $30 in the US.

I know Roland do pedals too. I hope that's of help!
