I am going to buy a sound module in the near future - do you like what you have?

I'm looking for good pianos, basses and drums - in a module or with a good, weighted action keyboard.

I don't need sequencers - I'm running Cubase in my PC (unless you know of a good use for sequencing in conjunction with Cubase?)

Can you recommend what you have?

Budget is $1,200 - $1,500 (or a little more if there's a significant upgrade)

Thank you, thank you
(and my apologies for a semi cross-post)

I recommend the Ensoniq ZR-76. I have the earlier model MR-76 and the ZR is a cut above. Ensoniq deems this the composition keyboard and rightfully so. It does have great sounds in addition to a 16 track sequencer. I use the MR-76 to compose an entire song and then I record it as a stereo track using Cakewalk 9. That's my two cents worth.
Good luck!

Thanks for the response - I hadn't even considered Ensoniq
