Recieved a 4033a instead of 4033CL....

Howdy,

I had mail ordered for a 4033CL and recieved a 4033a. I've read from some of you guys that there's no difference. Don't know for certain, so I'll post again to get your opinions and advice. Should I return this mic?

i own a 4033a , and like the 4033cl it also has a capacitor diaphragm like the 4033cl. unlike the 4033 which has a back-electret element. As far as my investigations go i can say that the 4033a is the same mic as the 4033cl just a different name. Judging from the two specifications sheets i can find no difference what so ever.

My 4033a is a great versitile mic which is seeing a lot of use in my studio.
