As a quick introduction, I'm new to computer-based recording as I've only used standalone recorders in the past.
I recently purchased a new computer and a new Tascam US-1800 to use with it. I brought it to band practice tonight, installed all the drivers, and plugged everything in. I'm running six mics through the XLR inputs on the front of the unit.
I downloaded Reaper 64-bit and opened a new project. I created six tracks/channels to use in conjunction with the six inputs. I selected the first track Input>Mono>Left Channel 1 and it picked up the first mic. I selected the second track Input>Mono>Right Channel 2 and it picked up the second mic. All is good.
On the 3rd-6th, Reaper won't pick anything up for some reason. I selected Input 3 but it won't pick anything up. Is there some dummy setting I need to change to get Reaper to recognize my other channels?
Help!
