Reaper playback problem. Help?!

Hey guys. I have a problem with reaper. It's just when I playback a recording of my vocals only. And the pitch goes like Alvin and the chipmunks. It starts of with the correct pitch and then about 10 seconds into it, it goes really squeaky. It's not me! Lol. It is definitely reaper. It's really fu*cked up. Help would be much appreciated.

I had similar issue but not with a vocal track. Look at your time line and see if you have inserted a tempo change. Also Rt click in clip/track and select "item properties" F2 I think. and look down about 3/4 of the way to a box labeled "playback rate" it should be 1.00. I am thinking you have an accidental tempo change and it is not timme stretching correctly. I have had drum loops go crazy becasue of this. Let me know if that helps.
