I know Acid and some other programs have the reputation of being "looping" kinds of programs, which is how I like to make music a lot of the time. I'm not playing techno or rap or other genres which have a persistant beat, but even rock is sometimes easier to write using repeated loops rather than recording the same chord progressions over and over. How condusive is Reaper for that kind of recording? I have been using the trial version of Reaper and I really like the interface, but I haven't been able to easily make music using "loop" methods. Am I missing something, or is it just not what this program is meant to do?
