Hello,
I've been using a combo of Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.3 & an INCA 8/8 card for about a decade now - flawless operation across four computers & from 98 to XP (still in XP).
I recently decided to try REAPER as it's good for callaborative work. After installing Reaper & running the set up I found that even though the INCA card was selected I couldn't get any play back from it.
I tested a media player - MPC - & it played back fine through the card.
I tried Cakewalk & it wouldn't either.
I removed Reaper & still CW wouldn't play back. I reinstalled CW & it would only come up with MIDI functions. I reinstalled Reaper & again - no playback.
I did want to keep CW as a heritage DAW for old projects & did want to keep the INCA card as it can do 8 in simultaneously and as a PCI card there weren't USB & latency problems.
Any ideas?
