The price went up! But still a great deal.
I have been using the ver 2 bata for a bit and love it.

I like the clearer layout in the new default skin - the mute and solo buttons make much more sense now.

Not so keen on the big dark box of shortcut buttons in the top left but I guess a change of skin could sort that out.

Other than that - result! Installed at home and enjoying - next stop, upgrade the studio!

I downloaded it last night and I am trying it out as we speak. I had to remove the fx from my tracks and reload them when I went from 1.888 to 2.0, but other than that, the higher price seems to be worth it. I will probably register it in a day or two, after some serious time is spent playing with ALL of its features.

Now where do I get the lame.dll so that I can render to mp3?

I'm gonna have to wait.
I'm in the middle of something with it right now and don't want to mess anything up, I'm a phobe that way. :D

2.001 and 2.002 are out, some midi enhancements.....I think......

Yeah, I got the popup asking if I wanted to upgrade.

That guy moves quick! I'm still getting used to 2.0. I haven't even dropped a dime on it yet!:o

v2.003!!!!!!!

Just downloaded v2.003 yesterday. Guess I'm kinda lucky, bought it right before the price increase!:D

2.004 is up and running, 3 new Rea---- plugs, midi updates coming out of ones ears, etc.

Is it safe to come out and play yet ?
I'm still at 1.8xx :D

2.007 is out, make sure you read the change logs when you update, you might be surprised whats in there from time to time.

damn... wish I'd heard of reaper before I purchased n-track 5.1 a couple of weeks ago.

How do you suggest installing the newer versions? On top of the old or un-install the older version first and then install the new one?

Right on top, although you could delete the old version it isn't needed. And same with reverting to old versions, just download the old version, or if you kept the old version installer, double click it and install over the top of the new version, its smart enough to clean up what is not needed.

BTW, all your personal settings are stored else where, so when it installs over the top your settings remain unchanged.
