Most good reference monitors and consumer Hi-Fi speakers have binding post/bananna plug combo. In the picture you can see that each post will unscrew, and a wire can be wrapped around the metal post (or put through a hole on the post, can't see any of this in the picture), and then the plastic knob tightened back down. Note the top of each post has a hole. Here you could use a bananna plug, which looks like:

Advantage of bananna plugs is they are easy for quick disconnect, reconnect if your moving your stuff around.

A banana plug Is what you stick in to a 5 way binding post If that is what is soldered on to your speaker wire.

a binding post has a hole in the end for banana plugs. has a hole perpedicular to it to bind a bare wire and a set of teeth to enable you to screw it down to clasp your wire.
